THE WOLKI™ STORY

Wolki Construction was established in February 2018 on the Gold Coast, built on a clear focus — delivering high-quality construction with a hands-on, detail-driven approach.

Since then, the business has delivered a wide range of commercial and residential projects across the NSW and VIC border, building strong systems, trusted trade relationships, and a reputation for well-executed work.

Today, Wolki Construction is focused on high-end residential extensions and renovations across the Gold Coast, Tweed Heads and Byron Bay.

We specialise in projects where quality, precision, and communication matter — working closely with clients to deliver a smooth, well-managed build from start to finish.

We don’t take on volume. We take on the right projects and deliver them to a high standard, without compromise.

Meet Luke

Wolki Construction is led by Luke Wolki, a builder with over 13 years of hands-on experience across residential and commercial construction.

He began his career early, completing his apprenticeship across concreting, commercial fit-outs, and both commercial and residential shed construction. This foundation gave him a strong understanding of structure, sequencing, and how projects should run from the ground up.

He became a qualified carpenter at 18 and immediately went out on his own, contracting across the Gold Coast. During this time, he was heavily involved in residential framing—building stick-frame homes and running crews on site. For several years, he operated with a team that included a mix of qualified carpenters and up to six apprentices, gaining valuable experience in managing people, overseeing projects, and developing a strong eye for detail.

As the business has grown, so has his approach.

Today, his focus is on being a builder in the truest sense—carefully selecting the right trades and contractors for each individual project. He understands that high-end construction is not about using the same team on every job, but about working with the right people to achieve the best outcome.

He remains closely involved on site from start to finish, coordinating trades and ensuring everything is delivered to a high standard. While efficiency and timelines are important, the priority is always the end result—a clean, well-executed build with no defects and a level of detail that stands out.

This balance between quality, speed, and precision defines every Wolki Construction project.

Meet Kayla

I’m Kayla, and I look after the admin and operations side of Wolki Construction. You’ll often hear from me in the early stages, helping with things like contracts, insurance, and general pre-construction admin. I was born and raised in Mt Beauty and have spent most of the past decade in Albury/Wodonga, so I feel closely connected to the local area.

Outside of work, I’m a coach at a local gym and spend plenty of time training myself as well, recently getting into trail running which I have been loving. I’m one of four children and very close with my family, most of whom still live in Mt Beauty, so I get back there whenever I can. I also have a Cavoodle named Oakley who keeps me busy. A fun fact about me is that I spent a few years living at Falls Creek and went to school in the snow!
